Who should have the Pfizer mRNA Vaccine?
The vaccine is recommended for all those over 80 years and those who form part of a ‘high-risk’ group. It is also recommended as part of the normal vaccination schedule for most; there are some exceptions, read more here.
Following the second recommended dose, the Pfizer vaccine has shown 95% efficacy in preventing symptomatic Covid infection and is one of the best vaccines currently available.
