Advancing Public Health Practice in Small Islands

Established in 1993, the Inter Island Public Health Forum (IIPHF) is a loose association of health professionals with an interest in the special health needs of small island communities. The IIPHFarranges conferences periodically in different island locations.

The 14th Conference of the Inter-Island Public Health Forum takes place in Gibraltar during 18th to 20th October 2018.

Professions including public health doctors, environmental health officers, health promotion specialists and many other health-related disciplines come together in the belief that circumstances affecting health in small island communities are frequently universal and therefore opportunities for shared learning and innovation must always exist.

Although the IIPHF is dedicated to the advancement of public health practice in small islands, it is open to anyone interested in its work and is not limited to islanders.
