On Thursday 30th January 2020, the World Health Organisation declared the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 a global health emergency. This definition is used to describe serious unusual, or unexpected health events. Only 5 such emergencies have been declared in the past decade.

For the majority of us, contracting COVID-19 will produce familiar symptoms of the common cold or flu. Those who are vulnerable, particularly the older population, may require additional healthcare support for their symptoms.

The most important thing is to STAY HOME if you suspect you are unwell, to protect yourself from further infection and to prevent spread infection to others.

To make on-the-day telephone bookings, please call 20052441. This phone line opens at 8:15am (Monday to Friday).

Emergency Evening Clinics:

To make an appointment at the emergency evening clinic, please call 20052441 from 4.30 – 7pm (Monday to Friday).

Emergency Dental Clinics:

To make an appointment for the emergency dental clinic, please call 20007809.

  • Monday-Friday: 8.30 – 4pm
  • Weekends and Holidays: 8.30 – 10am

Weekend Clinics:

Appointments for the Saturday and Sunday clinics; and Public Holidays can be made on the day by calling 20052441.
