Who needs a Vaccine Certificate?
A vaccine certificate may is required by anyone needing to show proof of having been vaccinated with either the first or second dose (Batch number will be indicated) when travelling abroad.
Please check conditions of entry to the country you are travelling as there may be varying requirements for different countries.
As from 22nd July 2021, the Post Office will be providing the service to issue NHS-style vaccination certificates. To request a vaccination certificate, click here.
Passengers travelling to an airport or country that permits the use of rapid antigen tests (i.e. Green list countries including the UK) may do so at the COVID Rapid Test facility at the Gibraltar International Airport; the cost of this is £30 and includes a travel certificate. Who needs a PCR Travel Certificate?
- Anyone who is required to show proof of a PCR negative test when travelling abroad or
- Anyone who has been advised this is necessary as part of an impending medical procedure abroad
Please check travel restrictions and requirements according to the country you are travelling to.
Requests for Travel Certificates must be submitted 96hrs prior to Travel by filling in the relevant application form below.
After you complete the online submission you will receive two emails:
- Payment Request Link
- Covid-19 Swab Appointment Date
Please allow 24 hours for the team to process your application. PCR testing will be arranged no more than 48hrs prior to your inserted travel date. Double check your junk folder for the replies as emails can sometimes be marked as junk by accident.
£30 per person (any person who is resident in Gibraltar or any person who is entitled to health care in Gibraltar)
£180 per person ( non-resident in Gibraltar or any person who is NOT entitled to health care in Gibraltar)
The fee includes PCR test and Travel Certificate.
